There is something incredibly gratifying about writing a book.
There are really very few experiences which feel as good, or are as rewarding as looking at the printed pages ( or pixels) that emanate from your sense of passion and purpose, or the wisdom you have to offer the world through your words.
(Truthfully, there are probably a lot of experiences which feel as good – I just don’t leave the house that much, so I’m not sure what they may be. Bungee jumping is probably a rush, but I’m not a big fan of heights, or strangers with rope.)
As a published author, it’s reassuring to know that 50 years from now, when I’m looking down from heaven & bathing in the perpetual glow of a beautiful bright white light, people will still be reading the classics like “War and Peace”, “1984”, “Finnegans Wake”, the liner notes from “Slippery When Wet” and my own small contribution to the genre, “How to Write Articles that Convert Like Crazy”.
(please note – Article marketing doesn’t work in 2015, so if by chance you are reading this blog (or my book) in 2065, I’d ask Jeff Bezos for your $2.99 back.)
All kidding aside (although I am going to heaven, you heathens) one of the most enjoyable things I try to do in my business is help people simplify the process of creating content. For better or for worse – Amazon, and the self publishing space overall, has opened a wide and wonderful window into the world of enabling all of us to share our wisdom on a far bigger stage than ever before.
You don’t need a pedigree to publish a best seller.
You don’t permission.
All you really need is PASSION and perserverence, and little bit of a guiding light to illuminate the path.
This 8 Page PDF will walk you the simple steps you need to sketch our your first book. It works equally as well for creating courses, products, programs, blog posts, autoresponder follow ups and so forth – but for those of you fond of staring at a blinking cursor waiting for the inspiration to strike…..I really and truly believe this will make a huge difference in your creative process.
Remember, and this is key.
TEACH, don’t write.
You can also read the ORIGINAL inspiration for this process (and a short video from the guy who shared it) way back when Donald Trump didn’t resemble an angry orange.
