Ok - the title of this article is - "Jewish Dating Site will Make any Jewish Single Happy"
I'm with you so far.
The article is about Jewish Singles as you could probably have guessed. ( of which I am one..:-)
Now - i'm goign to be honest with you. I was reading this ONLY as a little market research on a Jewish Dating Site affiliate site we're throwing up and have been goofing off with for a few years and have FINALLY put up a few meager pages here.
And the first paragraph sort of threw me for a little bit of a loop, only because it makes no goddamn sense. But as a Jewish single, I happen to be very forgiving so I continued on. (more…)

I keep getting different derivations of this question via email, see it asked a lot in different serendipitous online spots, and got a note this morning "correcting" me on the proper use and purpose of article submissions. "Bob" told me that my article marketing strategy was not only "wrong, it was misleading people on the right way to write articles for backlinks".
Of course this is a totally specious and silly argument, as there are FAR better and easier ways today to get backlinks than writing articles,( link bait, social networking strategies, etc) article "links" are somewhat discounted to begin with anymore, (and have been for a few years) and they are TRULY not part and parcel of why I recommend you write articles in the first place. For me - and for the most part - article marketing is a MERCENARY business. (more…)

I've covered a whole LOT of article marketing concepts on this blog (and in other spots) and STILL believe it the absolute easiest way for ANYONE - regardless of their skill level, to make money online in rapid fire turn around time. It's interesting because I got an email from someone the other day - who said a whole bunch of off the wall kind of stuff - (and in only quasi understandable english) and that ended by stating he wanted ME...to coach HIM - (for FREE) and IF he was finally able to make some money (he hadn't made a dime in 7 years according to his email) then, and ONLY then, he would agree to pay me.
Now, that's a great offer and all, and I have to admit - it WAS tempting to try to squeeze a few more hours out of the day to offer a complete stranger some complimentary coaching and cross my fingers that he was able to sort of end the 7 year drought, but after tossing it around for a few sleepless night, I kind of decided I was going to have to pass..:-)
I actually sent this guy a pretty edgy, mean spirited reply (which I NEVER do) - in which I basically said - if you haven't made money in 7 years - you are PROBABLY in the wrong field and it might be a good time to start thinking about a career as a bullfighter - or bellydancer or something less intellectually taxing. And of course, a few minutes after hitting send, my guilty conscience kicked in and I felt really guilty and promised myself I'd stop checking my email after 6 tequila shots. (more…)
I've gotten a few interesting questions over the last few days about selling affiliate products, this one came in this morning and seems to cover a few good points that lots of people struggle with, so let's cover it quickly and see if there is a little light at the end of the article marketing tunnel for everyone.
Hi,
I have been article marketing for a couple months now for affiliate
products like Clickbank etc.I have enjoyed some success, but there are a few things I do notice about
article marketing that I would like to fix so I can take myself to a better
level.1. About half of my articles actually seem to turn out good.
2. Traffic from articles seems to drop to a trickle after a couple weeks
3. Re-writing winning articles multiple times for submission to other
directories is a huge pain and time sucker how to get around this properlyThanks,
TroyLet's cover these point by point: (more…)
How Can I Tell if My Articles are Good? More Quick and Easy Article Marketing Mastery
Since posting a lot of the article marketing experiments last month, I've gotten a whole lot of questions about the intelligence you can glean from utilizing articles in your overall site building mindset...simply as a baseline metric to figure out what works well, and what does not.
Interestingly while conventional direct response wisdom will tell you that what works in one market will work well in another, my own experience as has been quite the opposite. Human nature may certainly never change from market to market, but the message you use to seal the deal oftentimes very much does.
John emailed me last week and asked ( and paraphrasing a bit for brevity..:-)
" How Can I tell if my articles are good?"
I can empathize with this question because, like me, I believe all of my articles dress well, and have a good sense of humor. But that still hasn't stopped Megan Fox from threatening a restraining order if I keep sending flowers on special occasions. The truth of the matter is this - (more…)
