This is not any other e-book, this is the “wisdom” for those who grasp it. Gary, I think you are genius and could go far as you wish. No other e-books I ever read on internet marketing did ever introduce me to this dimesion of thinking about it. I thought internet marketing was just “go with croud”.
I did not sign in your list by chance, your articles caught my attention…. this is the game.
I really thought this was just a gambling game..play your chance… toss the dice or scrach the cards. Now I know that this is not.

    Thanks

Thank you, Abe – that’s very nice of you to say and I’m glad you are on the list – and enjoyed it as well!

    Dear Ian,
I’ve had a HORRIBLE week. Office politics etc etc (And I’m a dentist in private practice so I don’t how the rest of the folks in regular offices deal with it!) Well, cut a long story short, its been a lousy year, money’s good but I hate my job and the people around it ( you try being in job where 8 outta 10 people tt walk in say..You know what.. I hate you people!) I’ve been reading your blog for abt 9 mths now. I must say you’re an enigma of sorts. I read the first page to your pdf and smiled. You’re absolutely right, griping aint gonna get nowhere. i’ve written 5 articles in the golf niche with a straight re-direct. 200 clicks on the url and not one sale. Was just about to give up on this IM stuff (which I love btw) but after the first page I’m on my feet again. Maybe they’re too few articles, maybe golf is tough niche, who cares. all excuses..I’ll chug on. thank you for all the advice you’ve been dishing out, your wit and knack for alliteration is amazing. I’ve, rather selfishly, held back from commenting all this while, but this time, hey, you got me man. If karma works (and I’m sure it does) I hope you tt on a day somethin gets you down, u find something that gives you 10x what you just did for me right now (it’s 1 am in south east asia!)
In the words of kanye west “Keep Rockin’, Keep Knockin’, whether you louis vuittonin’ or Reebokin’.. ) you rock dude.

Thanks, Faz! Nice of you to say and really appreciate it!

    Ian

Just recently started using article marketing via EzineArticles to promote my site. Decided I could do a lot better and needed to learn from experienced players so did a search on “Article Marketing” on AE and have spent last 2 days trawling through articles and free ebooks and reports etc on the subject.

I’ve just got to say that your “Life Mastery Labs Presents…” free ebook and “July 09 Wrap up…” have been incredibly helpful. In fact head and shoulders above the rest of the stuff I’ve been reading – and I don’t say that lightly! Have been involved with sales and direct and email marketing for many years and what you say is not only extremely useful and the way you tell it feels authentic.

    So many thanks.

Thanks, Stephen – I appreciate it!

Ian this question is off topic and I remember you talking about it on one of your post but I can’t find that post so I’ll ask you that question.

What was the percentage conversion rate for a clickbank product from your EZA articles if you were to do a domain redirect straight to the merchant page vs product review landing page? Would domain redirect be lower?

  • ian On 26/8/2009 @ 10:09 AM

Right – much lower. (often less than 1% depending on product)

Best – Build list and refer to affiliate
Next – Review style blog or site
Last (but easiest) – straight redirect

Hello Ian I feel compelled to write. You send me e mails and I read them then I go to the links and there is some really good information there. At the moment I’m very busy with my father who is visiting me in Thailand but when he returns home I look forward to studying your blog. Your explanation of things and how it’s meant to work is simple to understand unlike a lot of other stiff that’s out there. So although this is my first comment I’m sure it won’t be my last.

Thanks again for sharing your knowledge with us.

    All the best.

    James. Thaiholidayhomes.com
