Thanks Ian, I can’t get those links to work and I can’t checkout lunar pages directly from my computer. I’m not computer literate enough to know what my problem is, I’ve fiddled with the google toolbar to no avail. I’ll try in a day or two.
Hi Ian – I would dearly love to have some one on one coaching to get me out of IM inertia. I have become an eternal IM student with lots of knowledge, some action but no monetary reward to speak of. I already have a hostgator (baby) account which I am struggling to understand at the moment – but would happily join your hosting site for some one on one, is it ok to join at the web site level? I have also joined the new membership site called Easily Answered which is set up with lots of experts to answer IM questions, which is great – but a one on one session would probably be more what I need at the moment to get me moving in the right direction.
Hi Janet – The “free” coaching offer is just set up for a few more days – and is more of a one time chance to ask questions you have on your existing stuff – i.e. – your copy, blogs, sales funnel, marketing campaigns, articles, etc – I conceived this simply because so many people email and ask me to look at stuff – and it’s tough to do it all – but, I have a hard time saying no..:-)
So I tried this once before back in November or so and seemed to go over well – but it’s not a perpetual,ongoing thing as I tried to make clear above – rather an email “audit” of anything you’d like improved. I’m not familiar with the easily answered program – but I know there are lots of helpful and smart people out there, so hopefully they are amongst them!
Hi Ian – yes – sorry I did understand that it was just a one off session, I just didn’t make that very clear in my message. I have just read your ebook on article marketing and I have to say considering it is free it is one of the best ebooks I have read – mainly for content and clarity (can you tell I used to be a teacher..lol) I have read so much information online where it is clear that the person writing knows what they are talking about – but they can’t get that information over in a clear and concise way. I would certainly give you 10/10 for your ebook.
I will send you an email outlining any questions I may have and if you think you can help me without needing to give up too much of your time then I will take you up on the one on one. I am new to Internet Marketing ( less than a month) and belong to Wealthy Affiliate, an online IM learning course and community. I have decided to try Article Marketing due to not having a lot of funds to invest in PPC campaigns. I consider myself a decent writer and will become much better with practice, and I am smart enough to focus on people first and solving their problems, rather than focusing on a product. I am also aware that a powerful headline is mandatory as well as good copy or content that offers value to the reader and is relevant.
I have read a little about Bum Marketing and own Jennifer’s One Week Marketing. I never heard of Squidoo before this and am not sure I want to take that approach. I do want to start Article Writing campaigns but I am not quite there yet for the knowledge needed. I believe I will like your approach better and am in the process of assimilating the information I receive in emails from you as well as reading your blog. I have a couple of Niche ideas I want to promote, one involving music and writing lyrics, and one involving learning a foreign language.
I am beginning to learn to speak Dutch and have many different products I have purchased that I would like to promote as an affiliate and write reviews on. I do not have my own website yet and want to hold off doing this until I can afford one. My questions to you are:
(1) Do you think this is a good enough idea to pursue and can you point me in the right direction in your blog where I can find information that may help me?
And,, (2) I feel incredibly stupid but I am having a hell of a time coming up with a domain name. I have so many interests and niches I want to pursue that I cannot come up with a domain name for my website (when I get one) that would be relevant to all my interests and niche ideas. Any suggestions?

Hi Jeff – Thanks so much for the comment, I appreciate it!
I wouldn’t spend too much time worrying about a domain name, to be honest with you – I’d just try to segment my interests down a little bit, and use one unique domain for each respective niche, or topic you want to review. Start with what interests you most. (i.e. – if that’s learning Dutch – and if there is the demand for that via lots of affiliate programs per products you’ve purchased – I’d start there – and create one starter site around that topic – or if there is the volume available – even one specific affiliate program that has been helpful for you, and you’d be enthusiastic about recommending. (most of the time in those style niches though – from a volume standpoint – you would probably want to aggregate all of the “learn dutch” products and review them all – and just naturally recommend the ones that you like best per your own experience)
Writing lyrics, et al – would be best served with a similar site, yet on it’s own unique domain. Remember though – you can register a domain -put up a WordPress blog – and get hosting – all in about an hour – and it won’t cost you more than 10 or 12 dollars or so out of pocket – ( or less) and you can be making money within a few days if you are writing and submitting articles as is covered here at some length.
The biggest problem I see with people ( and even myself) is getting distracted with too many ideas – and spreading themselves so thin with various projects – that nothing gets done in a world class way – which, is pretty easy to do if you focus on one thing at a time – but close to impossible if you’ve got too much happening at once.
If article marketing is going to be your focal point to start – just search the little box on the right for the posts on article marketing – and there is probably 10 or 15 of them that I put a fair amount of thought into, so hopefully you’ll find them helpful..:-)
