Fun With Analytics – The Google Gods Know All

If I didn’t have bills to pay, I could happily spend every day just watching my blog analytics. 

And not for the amount of time people spend on what pages. 

And not for what sort of layout converts best. 

Or what links get the most clicks. 

Or which articles get the most comments.

I could actually spend all day giggling at the keywords people are punching in to find the sites.

I used to publish a few sillier sites…..and a few "sexier" ones as well. 

And the sort of stuff that people are looking for would make Bob Guccione blush..:-)

But the stuff that’s REALLY funny, are the serious, sort of earnest and inquisitive searches that people plug in to Google (or the other engines) and genuinely expect an enlightening answer.

This one just struck me square on the funny bone a few minutes ago.

I’m just wondering what this dude (or dudette) expected as a result after typing this in above.

"who keep flagging all my ads on Houston Craigslist?"

The Answer is Bob Jones.

Bob Jones is flagging all of your Houston Craigslist ads.  

Now you know.
