How to Build, Automate and Dominate Your Niche, Industry or Expertise With “Underground” Technology That Works Like Magic

Sep 30, 2009 at 1:42 pm in KARMA by ian · 8 Comments »

I’m a big fan in the idea of automation. Trying to put as many pieces of your business on autopilot that you can…and focusing most of your time, energy and effort on the stuff that you really are passionate about.

I tend to be MOST passionate about this sort of stuff – writing copy, helping people, coaching clients, trying to be creative, entertaining and generally trying to improve my karma for many of the disastrous mistakes I make in my  [read more →]

Sep 24, 2009 at 3:19 pm in KARMA by ian · 4 Comments »

  • Lots of people rely on tools.
  • Others spend hours doing laborious and intense keyword research.
  • Some simply stick to what they are most passionate about…..and try to parlay that passion into profit.  (probably the easiest,  [read more →]

Fun With Analytics – The Google Gods Know All

Sep 15, 2009 at 7:16 pm in KARMA by ian · Comments Off

If I didn’t have bills to pay, I could happily spend every day just watching my blog analytics.

And not for the amount of time people spend on what pages.

And not for what sort of layout converts best.

It’s truly amazing (and inspiring) what you can do with a  [read more →]

Sep 4, 2009 at 3:10 pm in CRAIGSLIST, KARMA by ian · 22 Comments »

One of the common, recurring questions that comes up a lot on here (especially in the comments section) is making money with affiliate re-directs.  Or more specifically, using article marketing to automatically forward to a vendors URL, with your affiliate link, for fast and easy commissions.

In my view – using straight re-directs is NOT the best way to build a viable, valuable long term business.

Why?

As a rule, your conversions will be a bit lower, and the only thing you’re really  [read more →]

You’re Never Too Young to Start Building a List…..

Sep 2, 2009 at 6:31 pm in COACHING by ian · 2 Comments »

I absolutely love this..:-)  You are NEVER too young to start building a list, and I have absolutely no idea how old this girl is, but if she’s over 12, it ain’t by much..:-)

(my favorite part  of this little video is the snappy close at the end, where she tells you WHERE you need to go to fill out the form below)

But not only is this really pretty cute – it actually dovetails incredibly well with my post from yesterday  [read more →]
