These will help you make more money, EVEN if you do nothing else OTHER than sprinkle them into your article and post titles from this point forward…….and you can prove it yourself for free simply by giving them a go.

There may be a few duplicates on here….I’m typing them DIRECTLY from a 5 year old weathered, dog eared, coffee stained hand scribbled legal sheet..…..and that’s NOT a made up “marketing” ploy, either..:-)

The beauty of using these in your article marketing campaigns is that they are truly “plug and play” .

What does this mean?

Very simple.

I’ve found that even droll, boring and lifeless titles can be infused with NEW life with immediate ease simply by sticking one or two of these words in the title.

The truth?

You don’t even neccessarily have to stick them in the RIGHT places either……it’s actually amazing how little people pay attention to the overall “flow” and will instead just sort of allow their eyes “stick” to interesting individual words, pattern interrupts, breaks and other interesting interactions between the characters in your content.

So if you find yourself struggling to add punch to your prose…..give some of these a try and watch your response rise super fast.

All you really need to do is get a BIG, fat keyword list and start going to town by creating  powerful titles with killer keywords combinations and you’ll have a cornucopia of killer content that ranks well and gets the click to boot!

Notice: Putting Them Together exponentially ( another good word!) increases their power in super simple ways.

Like so:

Warning! Explosive Credit Repair Secrets (Proven to Raise Your Credit Score Fast)

Urgent: Little Known Credit Repair Techniques Guaranteed to Raise Your Score 30 Points (in 30 days or less)

Not the best headlines for sure………but just remove the “power” words and paranthesis and notice how “lifeless” they REALLY become.

Note:  If you do nothing else OTHER than add the parentheses, like I talked about in the article marketing PDF you got when you first signed up for my list….you will most likely see a bump in your open rates in every niche.

This works very well, and for a whole variety of “psychological” reasons I learned many years ago while selling knock off perfume on the mean streets of Philadelphia after I graduated from college. (for 150 dollars a week)

Which was a terrible job by the way.

And I ended up getting mugged after asking the wrong group of guys what kind of cologne they wore – even though I could sort of tell the brand from 2 blocks away.

But that’s another story for another time.

The key take way is multi level marketing jobs are dangerous, even if you can run fast like me.

And never “cold call” in the hood.

And if you do, never ask a guy with a “thug life” tattoo if he’s tried “Eternity” for men.

And, probably more important to you, parentheses are a great way to get more people to open your articles.

Please ALSO note – if you are publishing in a reasonably SMALL market or narrow field, and have ALL (or most) of the articles in a given category for your niche in EZA for example – you DO want to vary these (i.e. – don’t use the parenthesis trick for every article) as obviously, it looks contrived and people stop paying attention.

Much the same way people get “banner” blindness on a blog or website, if you are speaking to ONE specific audience, and use the same “tricks” to get their attention, after a while, they simply stop noticing. (some of the niches I’m helping people with now are in niches SO small and exotic that at any given time they have half, or more of the results, and if they all look the SAME, you aren’t going to get the bump)

Also -

You’ve got to experiment – NONE of this stuff works with every article, in every niche – every time. Every market has it’s own unique “language” and drivers - and while there are definitely universals, it’s not uncommon to have one approach work amazingly well in one niche, yet flounder a bit in the next.

Keep experimenting – a good marketer is a scientist - but a GREAT marketer is an artist – one who plays with the passions and imaginations and potentials of his or her audience - and keeps pushing the envelope - mixing and matching the colors and patterns and combinations until you have something that keeps peoples eyes glued to the canvas of your own creativity.

So…..USE the words above to turn your article titles into magical magnets of increased eyeballs, interest and income!

Enjoy..:-)

Ian, attempted to click thru “get a BIG, fat keyword list” and
got “oops this link appears to be broken”!

    I’m currently using “google’s” toolbar add on…ver5. w/ie7…

Hopefully it’s just my current setup…

Thanks for the heads up, Delton..:-) It’s working on my side! It’s a link to keyword country – the keyword tool I recommend in the sidebar along with nichebot for this style stuff ( and sort of an addictively cool way to do keyword research, too..:-)

Appreciate the comment – and more often than not….I FORGET to double check that stuff, too!

Ian, glad to see you survived the hood so you could go on to write great stuff like this. I truly appreciate your no-bull style of writing. Keep it coming….

    Hi Ian,

I am so amazed at all you have to offer! This is exactly what I have been looking for. And Lunar Hosting is right around the corner from me!

Are you still offering the coaching? I would love to amp up my article marketing. The thing that’s holding me back is the Panache and eloquence that you obviously have :) It’s a gift that I hope can be learned.

    Thanks so much…

Thanks, Karen – I appreciate it! I’m not doing the lunar pages/coaching offer – I stopped taking people a few weeks back – but I appreciate you asking! (and reminding me to take it down, too!..:-)

    Hi Ian,

Thank you for all the great information so freely given. It really is appreciated.

I am interested in using “bum marketing” through ezine articles. Afraid of trying PPC until I know something about it. I was thinking about a very popular, but very competitive market and it’s hard to find keywords for it without a ton of competing pages.

I know I would have to write many articles, but could I do that by basically recycling a small number of keywords? Or, would I be better off finding a less competitive market to concentrate on? Also Ian, while you had said that a person needs to write a lot of articles, should they be per subject- or can they be spread across different markets, for a large total?

Sorry to ramble and this probably isn’t the place for questions, but I’m stuck on this. Thanks again for a great site.

    Don
