But their pay per click strategy sucks.
Now, first of all, lest anyone think I’m searching for "signs she’s good in bed" because I can’t figure it out myself….shame on you.
I was brought up to believe a woman who cooks well, and cheers for the Phillies is just about all any man can hope for in this life, and any acrobatic skills she may ( or may not) have in other areas are irrelevant.
Plus I’m a heavy drinker, so I can never really remember what happened anyway, so it’s sort of 6 in one hand, half a dozen in the other regardless.
But somethign I DO look for in a woman is the ability to segment out her Pay per click ad groups properly, and if a girl was behind this atrocious strategy, she won’t be getting an invite to my annual halloween party where I dress up like Sarah Palin and scare the hell out of my liberal neighbors kids.
The truth we’ve been playing with some different sites in the Men’s health and dating niche for a while, and while doing a little bit of competitve research, I’m checking out some of the long tail landscape for some PPC ads on an affilaite program I think will do well….and it AMAZES me how many of the sort of sultrier keyword phrases have some VERY well known national companies advertising on them….SIMPLY because one of the primary terms shows up in the query.
( bed and signs in this one…of course, having NOTHING to do with the relevance of my search)
I thought this was interesting….JUST because across a bunch of these queries, in some of the more risque terms I’m using, some VERY surprising advertisers are showing their (un-beknowest to them and their stockholders..:-=) BLUSHING red faces for the world to see.
This is pretty easy to avoid – even for those WITHOUT the multi-million dollar ad budgets….so I’m pretty surprised to see it as widespread as it is.
