I’m working on a new project in "esoteric arts" category…and always love checking out some of the stuff that’s already out there of course, to kind of see what’s working……or not..:-)

You can literally spend DAYS, by the way, entertaining yourself with the sorts of deep thoughts of others across multiple online channels – I must have spent half the day yesterday checking out some of the queries being done to find different scribd documents as I posted here……and in some of the more "risque" markets, the keyword phrases being typed in to find the docs were SO outrageously funny I think I peed my pants at one point..:-)

Anyway – Alex Lee has a nice article here on meditation and Oprah, (two of my favorite topics..:-) and might have the article marketing understatement of the decade:

" one who meditates also tends to be more ready to face certain unpleasant things in life, such as death"

I would argue that death might sort of be beyond the category of unpleasant things in life – which I sort of think of as waiting in line at the DMV, a day old mcdonalds fish filet sandwhich, and having my prostate checked by a doctor with an eye patch.  But to each his own..:-)

Spiritually, one who meditates also tends to be more ready to face certain unpleasant things in life, such as death. This is because meditation often times increase one’s awareness and makes him or her more capable to overcome fear. Without feeling any fear, one’s life will be much happier.
