I do agree with all the ideas you have offered for your post. They are really convincing and can certainly work. Still, the posts are too short for newbies. Could you please prolong them a little from next time? Thank you for the post.

Hi Don - thanks for the nice words - sorry I didn't respond sooner, I've been on vacation.

I really don't do too much CL work anymore ( actually none at all) so I'm not sure I'd be the best person to ask anymore about what is, or is not working well on Craigslist these days.

As far as your question specifically, I'd try using a dial up if you are really concerned about the IP address, or maybe using a proxy service, or one of those approaches and see if that still works. ( It did last year when I was heavily using CL to promote products, but they may filter differently today, I just don't know)

Lastly - there are many better ways to market your service than Craigslist for sure - even article marketing, which i've talked alot about here is low hanging, but far more profitable fruit than dealing with the daily slog of CL and their various mood disorders for sure.

Thanks again..:-)

Hi Ian,

I find all kinds of great stuff on your site. Thank you.

Ian, I am a Giant in the field of Rabbit Ear Repositioning, but sort of dim-witted when it comes to doing simple things on a computer.

I have an idea that might make some greenies on CL, but don't want to screw it up. I would like to post in several cities, but have a few questions, before I do.

How often do I need to change the IP address? Is that all I need to change besides the email addresses? Is the fact that all my ads are originating from one computer in one state, any problem? If so, how would I fix it?

I'm sure by now, you're rolling around on the floor, laughing uncontrollably, but I told you I was sort of dim-witted. But, if you could give me some help on this I would sure appreciate it.

Ian, you are sort of unique when it comes to offering free help on the net without asking for something in return. But I'm sure you're rewarded in many ways. What goes around comes around. Thanks.

%90 of my ads go live, and stay up for the entire 7 - 30 days.

I do not use Craigslist accounts. I create a new email address for every 10 ads I place. I also manually place 10 ads per day. I stay out of the big cities usually, and make sure to only have 1 live ad per state at any given time. If an ad gets flagged down quickly, I blacklist the city and never post in it again. Also every post I make is identical except for the fact that they all mention the city by name.

The trick to not getting flagged is to make your post look CREDIBLE!!!!

Rather then saying: "Click here to get this great product risk-free for 90 days!"

Say: "Yeah so anyways if your interested you can sign up for free. Just cancel before the 3 months run out. ;)"

Great information. However, I have posted only a few times on CL and have been flagged EVERYTIME. I'm not even posting in more than one city. I'm simply giving information with my website address (no long subdomains or anything but the direct mainpage) which then re-directs to a clickbank offer... is this not the way to do things on CL? Any idea how I can actually make money using it?

I appreciate the help!
